Mercedes AMG wins Monaco GP:
Great Race at the 2015 Monaco F1 GP.
Nico Rosberg has become just the fourth driver in Formula 1 history to claim a third successive victory at the Monaco Grand Prix. After capitalizing on a strategy error by Mercedes, race leader Lewis Hamilton under a late safety car period. Hamilton comes in second.
Mistake:
A terrible error of judgement by Mercedes team. Cost Lewis Hamilton victory at the Monaco Grand Prix. Handed it to his team-mate and rival Nico Rosberg. And Rosberg got handed the victory by this mistake. However it is racing and the end comes with the flag.
A win was all almost assured for the Formula One world champion. As the race came to a close only for Hamilton’s race engineers to choose to pit under the safety car allowing Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel to pass.
It saw Hamilton blow what would have been a second success on the streets of Monte Carlo and allowed Rosberg to secure a bonus third successive win at the Circuit de Monaco as Vettel’s Ferrari followed home second.
